About
Established in the region since 2023, the ReprésentACTION santé mentale Côte-Nord component aims to give a voice to people directly concerned with mental health issues within the consultation tables as well as to the decision-making bodies that govern health and social services in our region.
ReprésentACTION's mission is to respond not only to priority issues in mental health, but also in social justice in order to promote the civic participation of people who are victims of social exclusion and in situations of economic vulnerability with the aim of promoting collective well-being.
The objectives of the component
Recognize the potential and expertise of users to participate in decisions that concern them.
Empowering people to take ownership of their individual and collective power.
Enable people to exercise their citizenship.
Informing people about mental health services.
Maintaining the link between delegates and the people they represent.

Who can participate
People who use services and want to get involved beyond their personal situation. People who want to be part of the solution where it matters in order to have an impact, not just for themselves, but for the community as a whole.
How does it work?
By holding citizen meetings organized in each MRC in order to recruit, train and equip people who will be delegated to be able to act on the main issues that will have been targeted.
